Course Content
What you will learn: A SWAP course in Health & Social Care runs in partnership between the DWP, Suffolk New College and employers. All SWAP programmes are linked to at least 1 employer, with a guaranteed interview for a job role in their organisation upon completion of the SWAP. The course will include a wide range of practical and theory learning activities which are steered by the employers and their needs and requirements for an employee to be successful within their job role. This typically includes content on Care Values, Safeguarding, Person Centred Care, and can also include topics and training on Manual Handling, Hoist training, and more.
Progression: We offer a wide range of Health & Social Care qualifications and training to support you in developing your skills and knowledge and to provide an offer that see’s the sector receiving the upskilling, training and development required to ensure that Suffolk and surrounding areas can be a beacon for excellent care.
