Prerequisites
This course is available to:
- Volunteers wanting to progress in the health and social care sector
- Those who are currently unemployed and are seeking a career within health and social care
Course Content
This programme enables participants new to the industry, to have an introduction to the health and social care sector. This will include:
- CV building workshops
- Interview skills
- 1:1 mentor support
- Manual handling
- Soft skills
Delivery will be a combination of classroom and online sessions with the completion of workbook/exercises in learner’s own time.
The course will include an adult basic first aid training qualification, along with a Level 1 Care certificate.
