  • Those who are currently unemployed and are seeking a career within health and social care

Course Content

This course entails:

  • Relevant care skills through work-based learning in our state of the art clinical simulation centre
  • The chance to learn in our ground breaking new facility at the School of Nursing Studies
  • Expert work mentorship with our specialist career coaches
  • Weekly online career clinics
  • Access to supporting qualifications such as Maths and English through our free Multiply courses
  • Personalised work experience across a range of local health and social care settings arranged and supported by our career coaches
  • Weekly online career Masterclasses to prepare for a role in health and social care – top tips for interview success, smart strategies for CV and personal statement writing, techniques for developing resilience, communication and more

After successfully completing the course you will receive a Level 2 care qualification (Gateway Care of the Elderly award).
