Sophie’s Story

Always wanting to help make a positive difference, Sophie knew she wanted to work within the Health and Social Care sector but felt unsure of what path to take after researching the numerous jobs available online.

Sophie heard about the Apollo project from the team at Suffolk New College where she studied Health and Social Care Level 3. She found the project to be appealing and her curiosity prompted her to sign up.

Since joining Apollo, Sophie learned the importance of teamwork within Health and Social Care and how to best achieve this. The project also showed her real life experiences working within the sector, where her potential and commitment were recognised and led to her finding employment at Bethesda Eventide Homes!
