Course: Freya’s Story

Freya is a student and has been able to take part in different work opportunities as part of the Apollo project, including environmental, personal and community healthcare. Freya’s ambition is to be a Trauma Nurse, these experiences have all provided her with a valuable insight into a professional healthcare environment.

Taking part in the project has allowed Freya the freedom to express her views and opinions regarding her career ambitions. She is now able to communicate effectively, a skill which will be transferable in the workplace when working with patients and professionals.

Freya is determined to use the Apollo project to assist with continuous personal development which will be beneficial for her future career ambitions. She has built up a good relationship with her Apollo mentor and feels like she could express any concerns or questions.
