Course: Ethan’s Story

Having been unsuccessful in finding work for quite some time, Ethan was informed about the Apollo project by a family acquaintance. The skills, knowledge, and experiences he would gain by joining the project would be essential to help him seek employment.

Ethan, along with his job coach worked together on interview techniques as well as his body language to improve his confidence during interviews.

Having a passion to constantly learn and improve, Ethan signed up for the Care Certificate course and gained an understanding of the systems that occur within the Health and Social Care sector, including an understanding of CPR, legislations and care services such as catheter measurement. This achievement boosted his chances of working within the sector.

I would highly recommend Apollo to anyone who is struggling to gain employment. The project will give you so many opportunities! It was helpful in both improving my abilities and confidence in myself as this has been something of a hurdle for me.”
