Course: Andrew’s Story

Feeling lost and disheartened by the lack of success in finding work, Andrew was referred to the Apollo project by Seetec Pluss. He was welcomed by job coach Nicky who gave him reassurance that he would gain employment with the support of the project.

After their first meeting, Andrew and Nicky created a plan with some clear objectives, one being signing up for Care Certificate training. Through this training, Andrew was pleased to hear he would have the opportunity to meet with potential employers at a planned breakfast meeting, giving him something to aim for.

Since joining the project, Andrew has gained knowledge in Prevent, Safeguarding and Professional Boundaries through the Care Certificate training. Through the support received, he has also started two jobs!
